The foundations of Güler Tuz were laid by the salt trading business that our founder Ergin Güler started in a small company in İzmir in 1998. Growing by getting to know the needs of different customers closely, this venture became, over time, the starting point of the activities Güler Tuz carries out today.
Born on 5 December 1963 in Cihanbeyli, Konya, Ergin Güler spent his youth and school years in Ankara. Through the business steps he took in İzmir, where he later settled, he started the brand’s journey and has led it ever since.
Today, Güler Tuz offers salt options for water softening, food processing, road maintenance and industrial applications. We place importance on understanding how each business uses salt, what it expects from the product and how its supply is organised, and on responding with the right product, packaging and delivery option.
At the heart of the journey that began in 1998 is the understanding that mutual trust creates the lasting value of trade. We aim to carry this approach into our relationships with customers through clear communication, care and continuity of business.
Four product groups (water softening salts, food-grade salt, de-icing salt and salt brine), together with technical salts for industries such as chlor-alkali, textiles and leather. Packaging and delivery are agreed according to your consumption and site conditions.
